In the past I've purchased discounted gift cards on the forums with great success (100%). Today I decided to take a different route and bought an eGift card through a well known "hot deal" site. Confident in my success I gave it to the wife who then took the card to the store (a local restaurant) and ordered. To her surprise the actual balance on the card was about 10% of what was advertised. I will be getting a refund on the card ...

Was just wondering where others go to pick up discounted gift cards, other than the obvious (eBay). I am looking not only for a good discount but also a reliable vendor. I do not want a repeat of today.

Thank you ...

Costco sells a bunch of different giftcards, usual discount is 20%-50% depending on what business type, and the time of year.

Was purchased from a reputable site. The discount was not that much. They have already refunded and apologized. Was just wondering what sites others use ...

Done Raise a few times without issue.

See a lot of good deals for Cardcash, but whenever I read the comments from slickdealers, I decide it's not worth the hassle.

I've bought from all of them. Raise, Card pool, and Card Cash. I almost always buy my clothing with gift cards that I buy off of those sites. I can get gift cards at 15% off, which is way more than I can get in rewards points with the clothing stores I shop at.

If you're a Rite Aid shopper, they often have gift card deals - $25 purchase gets you $5 worth of plenti points, usable on your next purchase.
