I've never had any problems like this before and it started probably within the last week or two.
I work five days a week, 8-5, with most of it being spent at my desk in front of a PC. Then when I go home I do much of the same at my home computer. I also work out three times a week with SL 5x5, do some manual labor type stuff at work and yardwork most weekends, so I'm not completely sedentary lol.
Whenever I get to work I'm usually fine for the first hour or so, but shortly after that the back right of my neck starts to get uncomfortable, kind of around where my scalp and neck converge. If I keep my head still it's not bad but it sort of feels like its 'throbbing' and I get mild to sharp pains whenever I turn my head left, right, or let it 'hang' down. Leaning it 'back' usually feels ok. When I stand up, the feeling lingers for a minute or two but generally dissipates pretty quickly after taking a few steps.
Strangely, it seems that it isn't an issue after going home or mid-late afternoon at work, almost as though whatever it is needs a long 'warm up' or something. But I'm going to try to pay more attention to that as well to make sure.
This past weekend at home seemed to have a similar timeline as well; pain started an hour or two after waking up when I was on the PC but gradually got better as the day went on, even while still on the computer.
I'm trying to pay more attention to my posture and trying out different chairs as well as elevating my monitor to eye level, yesterday keeping my hips further back in my chair seemed to help but no such luck today.
Any thoughts on anything else I should try or what might be causing it? Appreciate any input.
