Friend of the family, a man who I have known and respected greatly since I was very young, was just recently caught having an affair with another woman I've known since a very young age. I know both his sons very well (they're around my age). I can't describe how very disappointed I am by this news. :(

Wow! You surround yourself with older folks, JohnJohn320? You'll see too many disappointments from people whom you expect to be models. Sorry you were disappointed.

Oh, speaking of you surrounding yourself with older folks: I suppose that tells a lot about how you think of youself? Do you think of most folks your age as immature people and below your level? Okay, I got a solution for you, JohnJohn320, in regards to your question earlier today: Don't date any girls below your age. Date older women only. They'll be more mature and fitting of your expectation. LMAO! :D

Sorry, I had to be silly. Unfortunately, what you have witnessed isn't new or strange anymore. You get so used to it that you're indifferent about the situation.

Hehe. No, I don't intentionally hang out with adults all the time. The man is my dad's best friend, if you must know. As for how I view people my own age, no, I don't think of most of them as immature at all. Some really are, but not all. There's great folks in every age, gender, race, and professions/interests if you just look around (and lots of awful people in every category, too).

As for the last comment, yes I know that this happens all the time. 50% of married men cheat, right? But still...it's different when it's someone who you respect a lot.
