Disappointed

I have just upgraded my computer and to say the least I am quite disappointed in the performance I am getting in games. Before buying and building, i searched many benchmarks with the items that I have and was excited to see that I'd have a constant 60+ fps on 1680x1050 in some of the games I play like Bc2 with high settings, but come to find out the game is extremely choppy and is definitely unplayable to snipe or even move very fluent. The weird thing is my old setup seems to have run Bc2 WAY better than this new setup.

New Specs:
i5-2500k
GTX 560 ti SOC:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...560%20ti%20SOC
4 GB G-Skill 1333:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-425-_-Product
AsRock p67 extreme4:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...p67%20extreme4
Antec 750W PSU

Old Comp:
Core 2 Duo E8500 OC'd to 4.2gHz
TWO GeForce GTX 9800+ in SLI
4GB Corsair XMS2
XFX 780i Mobo

I do plan on overclocking my new processor soon, but I mean even without overclocking it, I should be getting better performance on high settings, it's very disappointing spending 800+ on a new system that doesn't run like you had hoped.

In comparison

3Dmark Vantage with SLI 9800GTX+: http://3dmark.com/3dmv/3084740

Obviously something is very wrong with the video card.
I've reinstalled drivers and checked connections, i have no idea what the issue could be.

Did you reinstall Windows when you replaced all of those components? While it is possible to move Windows to a new motherboard and have it work, it doesn't always work well, and you essentially have a completely new computer and really should have a new installation of Windows as well.

It's because a 560 ti is not a very big upgrade from 9800GTX Sli.

You shoulda just dropped a 6970 in ya old rig.

Negative - a 560 should demolish a pair of 512MB DX10 cards, especially with the SLI scaling from the DX10 generation; A GTX560 is in the same ballpark as a pair of GTX260 core-216s. Something else is fishy with OP's new hardware.

I found the issue, apparently with this card I have to install the Gigabyte OC_GURU from the CD I got with the packaging or the card won't even start to work. I figured it would work with just the drivers like every other card does =/

Here's my new score

3DMark11:http://3dmark.com/3dm11/1033538

3DMarkV: http://3dmark.com/3dmv/3086540
vs
9800SLI 3DmarkV: http://3dmark.com/3dmv/3084740

So it was definitely an upgrade, and I've noticed it in all my games that it gets much better frames.

It is still showing as Generic VGA, but I don't think that is a problem is it?

Graphics card is not recognized

Now that's a weird one. Sounds like the drivers didn't fully load
