Sorry, I posted this in general too, but I'm losing hair over this stupid AIW and "failed to initialize video etc. etc.".. sorry

Okay.. I'm supposed to disable the terminal service in win2k (I'm running advanced server0 and I don't know how. I only installed AS because I wanted to get a feel for a server OS and learn it. I can't get my damn AIW to work, and the tech support on the site says to disble this feature. Thanks.

Well, I thought that I had it figured it out;
My Computer > Manage > Services and Apps > Services
Then I right click on terminal services, enter the properties window and disable on startup. Then I log out and back in.. it shows me this (and the radeon AIW tv still doesn't work)..
So it is still running, and I don't know how to stop it..
*sigh*

(I doubt this is gonna make that stupid card work)...(Yes, it is stupid, ATI is stupid for making this thing so damn hard to setup).. :(

<EDIT>
Okay, now I've set it to manual, and fully restarted my machine. Now it shows that it's not started, I guess. I don't know what's going on, the TV feature still won't work. *sigh* Win2k is being all super slow now too, I don't know what it is, I hate windows.

<<I hate windows.>>

Believe it or not, it's actually more ATI's fault. Hate them. I won't even begin my rant...

Anyway, which AIW is this (pro, 128, radeon)? Are you using the special purpose drivers? I don't know how it works for the AIW series, but there's a special way to install the drivers for the TV Wonder in 2000.

Why don't you just remove terminal services? I think that's an option under the Windows 2K setup under the Add/Remove programs.
