Disabling LoadPowerProfile-Any adverse affects?

I get sporadic bluescreen errors on boot....I have traced it to LoadPowerProfile through playing with msconfig...Will disabling it cause me any problems?

I have that feature disabled since my fresh install of Win98 SE and I've had no problems whatsoever.
