It plays whenever I'm switching websites. I have google toolbar (with pop up stopper) installed, but I disabled the option to play sounds when it blocks popups. I have also disabled all windows sounds in the control panel. Still no luck.

Go to Control Panel -> Sounds and Multimedia -> Sounds tab -> Scroll down the list to "Windows Explorer." Click on "Start Navigation" Now in the sounds list, change it to "(none)" and OK it. It removes that annoying click sound from both Windows and Internet Explorer, and should do the same for your sound.

I turned off all the sounds, and it still didn't work. Also, this is not a "clicking" sound, but a "water dropping" sound, not sure if they're related.

You could always do a search on your hard drive for all .wav files, find the offending sound, and delete it. Certainly not the most elegant solution, but if you can't find the sound through the sounds and multimedia applet in the control panel, this would do what you want.

<pumps fist and does the chicken dance>

AHHH YESSS, It worked. I searched for all .wav files and found it (CookieCrunch.wav). It was associated with a program called Pest Control, so I uninstalled it. Thanks.
