Disabling an Intel 810E integrated video card?

How do you compleatly disable an Intel 810E video chipset? There is no option in the Bios. I recenly put a Voodoo 4 in a PCI slot (dont' have an AGP) and set PCI as the main video card in the Bios and onboard as secondary. The video drivers are still active in the device manager and I just want to make sure it's still not sucking system recorces (it uses shared memory). If I disable the drivers (or uninstall them) will this stop it?

As as side note, if I can't compleatly disable it, would I be able to at leat run a second monitor?

What motherboard do you specifically have? Some have a jumper to disable the onboard video.

I'm not sure on the motherbord, been trying to find a name, but can't. It's in a Dell L600R, has a 133FSB and a P3600EB in it. I looked through the manule and at the board but didn't see any jumpers to kill the onboard video.

I believe you right click on My computer, Properties, Device Manager, Display adapters, Intel (whatever it is referred to), and on the general tab there should be an option to disable in all hardware profiles. Disable it. Then at the drivers tab, change to standard vga. Shut down your computer, install the new board, and reboot. Plug & play will recognize the new board and prompt you for the new drivers.

I'm not sure what the jumper setting to disable onboard video is labeled as, maybe 'VGA_DIS' or something. If your mobo doesn't have one, the best thing to do is to go to Device Manager, click 'Disable in this hardware profile', and uncheck 'Exists in all hardware profiles' under the onboard display. That will prevent it from using any resources.
