disable Netbios Win 2k server gives errors

When I disable Netbios in win 2k server I get the following errors in my event log:
The server was unable to register the administration tool discovery information. The administration tool may not be able to see this server. The data is the error code.

I get this error for the 3 different sources W3SVC, SMTPSVC & MSFTPSVC

I guess it somehow makes sence that I get the errors, but is there a way to avoid the errors ?🙂
 
i'm not sure what the problem is 😱

on win2k professional i connect using DSL (ethernet attached modem and RASPPPOE to dial up) and am able to disable NetBIOS w/o any messages popping up.
