do you think ms will make a directx 9.0 c? It's been a while since the b version, and they first released directx 9, what, a year ago???

If they did it would hardly be exciting, just another batch of bugfixes. In the absence of new hardware and games to take advantage of new features, a new version of directx rarely does anything tangible for the user in terms of performance, just updates compatibility with new games.
