directx.. how do I know what version I have.. says I need 8 for win2k +radeon..

Hi.. I want to get these drivers for win2k and AIW radeon, but it says I need to have directx 8 installed.. so how do I know which one's I have? thanks.

Go to run, type dxdiag and you can see what version you are running.

Go to Windows Update and see if it recommends DX8 as an upgrade. If so, then you only have 7.xx, which shipped with Win2K.

just patch yourself up with w2k sp1 and u should be good to go.

hydrobum SP1 for Win2K is at least half a year older then DX8 (DX8a).
