I need to know what the difference is between Dx10 and Dx11. Are they basically the same or is it a whole new and different Model? I ask this because I just bought a new laptop with the 260m in it and I also qualify for the free upgrade to Windows 7. Will Direct X 11 have new features that my GTX 260m can not use?

to the extent of my knowledge no video card has been able to use the next gen DX, hell they're not even 10.1 compliant. This shouldn't be an issue for a while I'm sure win7 will work fine with DX 10 and most likely DX 9 and there are still not THAT many games that are DX 10 and those that are have the option to use DX 9. Yes DX 11 Will have new features, and any current video card will not be able to use them what they are exactly I'm not sure but I'm sure google could help ya there.

It'll be a while before DX11 is adopted. Look at how slow DX10 has been adopted. When full DX11 games come out, you probably won't even have enough hardware horspower to run them with all the pretty stuff turned up anyways so I wouldn't worry about it if I was you.
