Directway internet service

Has anyone had their service? I am moving out of the city and the thoughts of going back to dial up after being on DSL for 3 years is not setting well with me. So I've been thinking of going with a dish. I know that directway has one but I don't know of any other vendors. If anyone has had any dealings with dish internet service let me know.

Thanks

um, do you plan on playing games? uploading alot? surfing during bad weather?? if so, dont do it.

if yoou dont mind HIGH latency its all for you, and of course, be careful of the caps they put on when you sign up.

Client has 1 and it comes with various set-ups (ie 1 or 2 way), if this is your choice then go for the 2 way...(40-50K upload)...I personally strap my modems over 2 lines and OK with this method but the Directway is faster provided it's not a cloudy day...other ways are with CNet which must use a dial-up anyways. You might check if DSL is available where you'll be @ and then there's wireless via Laptop...in any event nothing beats living in/with the wise and beautiful woman-ry IMO 😉

can u get cable internet? I have comcast and love it. Its faster then my buddies DSL IMO (and after a couple tests). I wouldn't recommend satilite internet. Satilite TV is great though (I have DirecTV). The only time its gone out in the 6 months I've had it is during a really bad thunderstorm when it was windy and partially flooded. Good luck!
