Directv question...

I searched but couldn't find....

So here it is. Why can't you take the single LNB system and just split the Coax in a spliter and run the split to another reciever? Aren't you getting the exact same data with a splitter?

THIS ISN'T BEING POSTED IN AN ATTEMPT TO CIRCUMVENT DIRECTV REGULATIONS (If there are any about this)...

Nope. That isn't how an LNB works. They work by switching to even and odd transponders. One LNB can't tune to an odd and even transponder at the same time.

If you want multiple receivers you need a minimum of 2 LNBs then you have have tons of receivers.

You can run a multiplexer off a dual LNB and have 4 receivers with a basic setup... more than that you'll need different equipment I think...

That answers my question. Thank you all for your words... Continue to post for others that have additional questions though.
