DirectTV DSL is wicked fast

and if the speed gets even faster, im buying a second HD just to download movies while i can........then its off to optimum

Dude, you can get Optimum Online and you have freakin DirecTV DSL?!?!? Dude, OOL = uncapped cable. It's wicked fast, my friends get like 5mb/1mb speeds off Optimum.

I got 1003 Mbits/sec down, 931 upload using the LA server at DSL reports speed test page. I often get up to 1400Kbits/sec down though. Test was run around 9am PST.

I am using fixed wireless through Digitalputty's network.

I generally get 1.5 down and close to 256k up from DirectDSL.

Optium Online is only $39 a month too!! My friends does 10mb/1mb on his connection. It is hard to believe that it is really cable.

Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!

Guys.. Stop sharing my secret.

Besides it's not uncapped, the upload is capped, and they are capping it if you upload too much.

It's $50 a month if you don't get at least family cable through cablevision.

That what I have at home. I often see speeds of 1mb+ (8,000k) down with a 120-140KB (1,000k) up. I downloaded a 250MB file in about 4 minutes last night. Its rediculous. I am so spoiled now that even when I use DSL (at work I have an unshared 800kbit/120kbit ADSL), I think its sloooow.

Sometimes cable can be alot more unstable speed due to users in yur area or zone. Since my zone has very few customers, I get consistent speed of well over 5.5mbps. My lowest drop ever recorded was 3.2mbps and they were doing a router serviceing. My routing is very fast too. My ms response time is great. all for $40 month.... 😀
