FSC = Fox Soccer Channel, TWC doesnt carry it in HD where i live, and the SD feed is total shit

i live in upstate NY. right now TWC carries FSC in a few select markets

Remember last year when TWC almost dropped fox because of money. well its happening again with Disney. Disney owns ESPN. Disney family of channels will get dropped if a deal isn't reached by Sept 1st

Whew!!! I thought you meant something with Dish Network. I know that ESPN/Disney were in a bit of a spat about carrying the HD version so you had me worried. I saw TWC and ESPN and thought it meant The Weather Channel and ESPN.

Something that's worth mentioning that I haven't seen posted in this thread yet. There's a reason direct tv has an "F" rating with the BBB, and Dish has a "D" (last time I checked). They both suck pretty bad in terms of locking you into shady deals, not disclosing fees and things like that. I mean, you can get a C grade with the BBB for being lousy, but to earn an "F" like DTV has, you have to truly be evil. Heck, a bunch of AG's in several states are suing DTV for deceptive practices. For example, they don't tell you up front that if you don't agree to have them auto-bill your credit card (ie, you don't get a bill and then you pay, they just charge it as they please), you have to pay an additional $5 per month.

Want an extra receiver for a room? Cha-ching. Your equipment fails? Too bad for you, getting new equipment locks you into a new 2 year contract etc etc etc.

I had DTV for years and finally decided I'd had enough of their sneaky fees, now I have TWC, $120 per month for internet, phone and cable service, including an HD DVR (which sucks by the way) and a regular receiver. No receiver needed for other outlets in the house (standard def).
