Links to current EBAY auctions have been removed. Thus, now there's nothing to see here. Move along.

So far he has sold 3. A fool and his money are soon parted. Someone should report him to ebay for having a misleading auction. That is a violation of their terms of service.

"New, unused", yet "Tested 4.xGhz", and I like the screen cap of CPU-Z as proof.

Yeah, you see that crap on Craiglist all the time as well. In the title "Factory Sealed, never be used" click on the thread and in the detail...

"Was opened just to verify that it tested fine"

Sure... Actually, craigslist has hundreds of postings in my area just like that.

Isn't 1 in 10 can reach 4.3Ghz a complete lie? Or how about the voltage shown for 5.0Ghz, isn't that beyond the safe limit on Sandy Bridge. Forgive me if I'm wrong, I haven't looked a lot into sandy since I have no intent on buying soon, but those bits of information seem like complete BS among many other things.

Not at all. As long as he sends more than just a printed out piece of paper of the ad. It's not like the CPU is at stock 4.5GHz+, you still need to work it to get to the speed. Oh, and they are selling for $200, which is the price of what the chip goes for in the market.

Bro I hope you dont think so, seriously.... I just am doing a search on ebay for i5 or i7's because I got left out myself and do not need the SATA 2 ports just a couple of SATA 3's and Im in the market and happen to run across these gems lol... I can promise I wouldnt make it out to be jokes if I was trying to scam someone into buying with these BS ads... Only reason why Im new on here is because my old log in for some reason isnt working for some reason but I can promise you that Ive been reading this board for many years for advice... Just thought you guys would enjoy reading the nerve of this....

If you read more into it, they are claiming they have tested all chips so the chip will not be in factory sealed box... They have added turbo extreme and GT-R to the CPU in the pictures and claim that they can get 5 to 5.1 ghz out of the same CPU you are buying... The shipping is economy class and is 15.99!! Not quite the same from buying through Newegg etc...
