Direct Connect?

I just started using direct connect. I was wondering if there were any other programs that i can use to connect to the direct connect network?

Like i know kazaa and morpheus connected to the same thing, right?
So is there any direct connect software other than the one offered here, made by neo-modus

Thx

Josh

any good hubs for uhhh dreamcast goodies?

To the best of my knowledge, no.

I love DC though, you can find anything and everything there. My HD space has been dwindling down in the past few months, so much that I just went out to buy another one! :Q

DC++

Better program than DC IMO, but unfortunately (I still have yet to figure out why), some servers don't allow you to connect to them via DC++.

I though he meant a totally different client....like all the different gnutella clients out there right now.

I think he just wants different software to connect to the same servers which would be what DC++ is ::shrug::

i use direct connect! though i'm using version 1, so i geuss i'm somewhat restricted, havne't gotten around to updating, and it doesn't do it by itself...

Yea im talking about different software to connect to the same network.

It's a MUCH better program. None of those damn server "bot" popups anymore!!!! Better interface too.

Does anyone know why you can't download from multiple people from the same time on direct connect? That is the only thing I don't like about direct connect. It seems like I can get up to 200 kb/s on kazaa but the max download speed i can get on direct connect is 30 kb/s.

I think a lot of hubs don't allow DC++ because of the multi-hub feature. Most hubs want you to be only in that one hub, with all slots available for that hub.
