My old dlink kept dropping the connection so figured I would get this one base one most of the reviews I read. My wired connection was fine right off the bat but could not get my wife's Dell laptop to connect with wireless. Turned off all the security and everything else I could think of or read about. I had read some people had problems after updating the firmware so held off on doing that until no more ideas Upgraded from 1.02 to 1.05 and the wireless connects right away. Then enabled wpa and still no problems. Just thought this might save someone some time if they are going through the same issues. Don't have a gigabit lan card yet so can't say anything about possible speed increases yet. The dell is just using its built in wireless.
