Landover Baptist also targets our youth. They regularly do articles about some pop-culture entertainment that has a loyal teen or preteen following (such as the singing group In Sync, who are in fact Christians)

Uh. Well, I do believe this is n'Sync. And I'm quite certain that I've heard some death metal that is more Christian than those fruits.

I think every representative of any christian organization I've ever met beleives this. I had a biology teacher in high school who would say that dinosaurs and people lived at the same time (it was a christian high school). Every minister, youth pastor, teacher, etc... including most people who seem to make an effort to let other people know what religion they belong to seems to beleive this kinda crap. I'm sure there are a few who don't, but from what I've seen, almost all very active church members do.

I've had the exact opposite experience. Nearly every religious official I've ever run into (I'm not talking about those fundies who scream at people on college campuses) had no problem reconciling their beliefs with scientific fact.
