albondigas, with chorizo and ground beef, potatoes, rice, corn, peas, carrots, and green beans.

new dinner:

taco salad with:

grilled chicken
green leaf lettuce
cilantro pepita dressing (lots of it)
2 kinds of chiles (serrano and anaheim)
3 kinds of cheese (pepper jack, cheddar, cotija)
kidney beans
tortilla chips crushed up
1 full avocado per bowl
pine nuts

taco salad

It's 90 some degrees here. Too hot for any type of soup. String beans do NOT belong in there.

It's 90 some degrees here. Too hot for any type of soup. String beans do NOT belong in there.

meh, threw a frozen vegetable pack i had in.

they go just fine in.

and it's almost 9 PM here, and still 82 degrees. <3 air conditioning.

Albondigas are awesome though especially on a cold day.
 
I hate frozen veggie pack. Disgusting. I must have fresh veggie in my food. As soon as they discolor or softens I throw them away.

veggies are filler anyways. i dont care. i'm not about to go chopping carrots. peas and corn are easy enough to get canned, but i dont bother.this is my lazy meal...when i wanna work i do taco salad. that takes about 2 hours start to finish, whereas this only takes about 45 mins of prep time...then waiting to cook.

nothing wrong with frozen veggies. I use a similar pack when I make beef stew.

it works nice when making rice, too.
