The point is that so close to the Super Bowl a person with a valid man card would be eating wings, meatball subs, chili, nachos, roast beast sandwiches and beer. Tomatoes on Super Bowl Sunday are only acceptable in that context. You may have them in salsa or spaghetti sauce or even in chili, but not in tomato soup.

Now, I dunno about those "creme" soups.

Soup with Tomato is ok, especially if it has andouille or chorizo in it.

If you're really at Panera get a half of Chipotle chicken on asiago focaccia with your soup. The default french bread is ok, but with the above bread it's pretty great.
