I remember one year i went to Hong Kong and PIGGED out in Dim Sum EVERY morning for the duration of the 2 months i was there. Needless to say, after coming back to Toronto and literally eating every 2 hours in HK, I was a bit "plump" adding something like 15-20 lb's :D.

Is that how you say it in Cantonese? Do you have the mandarin pronounciation for it? I think I've picked up enough canto to kinda order dim sum dishes, but I'm still afraid to bust it out cuz I might look stupid =P

Fu Pi Juen (Juan) is one way of calling it. Literally translates to tofu skin roll.

I HATE OHIO WAHHHHHHHH!!!

Ok, Cleveland's China Town has dim sum, but not in Cinci, which is where I'm at :(

Hmmmm Ohio... is the chinatown there crappy? I know D.C. is

They bake everything at their house (home) and bring it to the bakery the next day.

When I asked the lady if she could make any more, an old guy laughed at me.

The Chinatown in Cleveland is pretty crappy. There are maybe five restaurants worth going to and about three really smelly Chinese grocery stores. But at least it's authentic Chinese food. I'd certainly settle for that over what I have now, which is your typical American Chinese takeout place.

The Chinese grocery stores are pretty bad (reminds me of a typical Chinese street market), but the food is generally pretty good. I don't remember the places where I've eaten at, but there's one dim sum place (I think it's Tom's Seafood... but that doesn't seem right...) that is great for weekend brunch. Another place has great beef noodle soup.
