OK so,

After some advice and research i have come down to 3 laptops

1. Emachine 5405 off the Sale/Trade forum
Con: Never bought off these forums before. His member name is Vasp, No S-video out
2. Acer Travelmate 2303 WLCi
Con: No S-video out, 256 RAM
3. Averatec 5500 Series
Con: 256 RAM

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i think S-video is really important. good way to watch anime and stuff on a regular TV.

256 ram is not important. it is so easy to install ram on a lappy.

I would avoid all, and get a toshiba...tehy build some pretty solid machines

What are the pro's to each of these machines? Price you intend to pay... this sort of info helps. Personally I want a Powerbook from Apple but am waiting till new releases. I here toshiba is nice 🙂
