Whenever I play a video file in WMP 10, its normal. However, when I load the same file in MPC or VLC, the video is extremely vibrant, producing odd yellow hues and glows. I know its not a hardware issue because WMP10 can play them without issue, and I know its not the players because they play fine when I stream them over the LAN to my notebook.
I remember having the same problem in WMP10, but I don't remember how I fixed it, and why it didn't work with MPC and VLC is anyone's guess.
Playing with the color controls and the digital vibrancy in the Nvidia control panel did nothing.
This is a 6800GT running the latest Nvidia drivers from their website, rev 77.72; all playing a Dell 2005FPW hooked up with DVI to the video card.
What is causing this?
