Oh wow. I just read somewhere that digital research is out of business and their rebates DON'T EXIST! Buyer beware. Sorry, I thought this was a hot deal (missed out on nike mp3 playa for $30).

Even if Digital Research has gone TU, CircuitCity will take care of you if the rebate goes unpaid. Got the Nike player pricematched after the one day sale, and they just took the rebate off the price since it wouldn't print out anymore.

BUT ....

Just found this description of the irock

No memory expandability and no WMA support makes this deal a pass for me.

After the crummy luck I have had with Digital Research I will not buy there products again. I bought a cdrom drive that went bad within the warrenty period they replaced it but sent a refurbished unit which died within 2 months with almost no use. By that time it was out of warrenty and they refused to do anything about it.

Looks like the Irock mp3 player that sold at Best Buy. It had a "Deck of Cards" theme to it. Ugly indeed. And very fragile looking.

Did you guys happen to notice that it's only 32mb.... there was contradicting info on the stats so I checked the DR website and the unit is NOT capable of additional memory.... 32mb is just not enough IMO. Not even worth $30.

i couldn't find it at the store, but it looks like its a circiut city rebate, not digital research.

still.. 32mb + player for $30 seems good, but i'm out of date on memmrory prices.

I wouldn't buy a digital research product even if it was free after rebate. it's been two years and i still haven't received a total of $40.00 rebate from them. To those who continue to deal with DR, I wish u good luck

Beware DIGITAL REASEARCH..i bought a cdrom a year ago w/ $30 rebate..never got rebate ..called Better business bureau they filed a claim against them and nothing ever happened.theres no way to get through to them either..bad business!!!!
