Digital photos w/ notes

How do YOU organize your digital photos? I know you guys have X times the amount of photos I have, but here at the office I'd like to tag a few lines of notes to be associated with a picture.. for example item dimensions or price.

Currently use ACDSEE 6 and found it to be a bloat load (I appreciate its simple FotoCanvas editing software, however).. it has the feature I am looking for, but what else is out there that can serve this purpose?

I organize my photos in Photoshop CS; works great for me. If you're looking for something simple and cheap, I've heard good things about Picasa. Microsoft Digital Image Suite is a more robust product and has pretty good reviews on Amazon. It's on sale, too. I've use Photoshop Album v 1 in the past, but didn't really care for it. There's a demo version on Adobe's website if you want to try it out. The current version supposedly sucks @ss.
