digital output on cd-rom

Where can I find the wire that will go from the digital output on your cd-rom drive to your soundcard? Thanks!

I have XP so I don't need one, thanks for asking though. If you want one of your own, try a computer store like Microcenter, Best Buy, Fry's, whatever.

It may not be required, but it is best option. You could also try eBay.

Well my surround sound wouldn't work so I thought I may need that for it.. guess not.

Neither the cable nor that OS option has anyfing to do with surround sound.
