For a limited time, receive a free digital HD Copy of Disney Pixar's "Monsters Inc." Receive your free copy today when you connect your Amazon Video Library to your Disney Movies Anywhere account. This offer ends at 11:59 p.m. (PT) on Monday, October 5, 2015

Having both accounts already, I linked them and the movie was instantly added to my library. I like that I can access my Disney Movies Anywhere through my Amazon account now too.

If you have Amazon Video Library, but not Disney, I am fairly certain you can just create one and still get the movie.

Nice find, OP! This is confirmed. 🙂

It's also worth calling out that linking the two accounts is very simple. Once you've created a Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA) account, you can go to that account's settings and link to Amazon from there. It's really very easy.

 Indeed it was.

I really wish more movie companies would go this route. "I have the right to play this digital copy, I should get to choose which service handles that."

Agreed this is great. I'm pretty much an all Android house, but we do have an ipad mini that the kids use. Some movie packs I've bought will only work with either iTunes, while others have had Amazon. So of course we run into the issue of only being able to watch some movies on one device, and some on another. I'm glad I can alt east what the Amazon movies on the iPad though. So thats where I make most of our purchases.

I found it impossible to get this to work with iTunes, which is one of the options. Select iTunes, click "link accounts" to get the movie, and it takes you to the iTunes download page without any way to continue.

I ended up linking to Amazon, and that worked.

Got it...thanks. In my DMA account I have The Incredibles, Wreck-it Ralph and now Monsters Inc. All freebies for signing up for one thing or another. 🙂
