Hi.
First things first, no speaches on "you should do it yourself" and all that crap. Cos none of these terms come up anywhere, even in google or dogpile.
The Original Question:
Recall the role and operation of the following two tri-state devices.
· LS244 Bus Buffer Line Driver
· Tri-State-able EPROM

Demonstrate familiarity with terms describing different logic device families.
· VIH and VIL for ALS TTL
· Supply Voltage for 4000 CMOS and TTL
· Explain the terms FAN-IN and FAN-OUT and how they are used.
I can explain a tri-state device, ive done a whole seperate assignment on one. But i cannot find the spec sheets for the two that my lecturers listed.
AND
Ive explained Supply volrage for 4000 CMOS & TTL, And Fan-In/Fan-Out: BUT;
I cannot find anything, anywhere, on VIH, VIL, ATS TTL, or VIL for ALS TTL

Any technically savy ATers care to lend a hand here?

Im trying to finish 10 assignments by this friday. 3 weeks before the end of college. I cant afford to fail this year, as i cant retake it, cos its the last year that the college it doing my course. So you can see the pressure im under here. So a speedy answer would be nice. As i`d like to get this assignment licked by tonight, leaving me 2Maths & a E/M Testing assignment to do. After that, all i have to do, is wait for my final assignment.

Thanks in advance guys.

This could be intentional, your instructor might want the class to learn to use the campus library and its printed reference books instead of googling everything.

I assume you can't contat the professor, the TA, or any classmates, and that the specs aren't in any of your class texts?

Nah. My lecturer does do anything like that.
Becides, our Library is rubbish for anything related to the Engineering Department.
Classmates: i have contact with 1 of them, who hasnt been in the last 3 weeks, so he hasnt a clue.
Classtexts: None given. Only the assignment sheets. (crap college)

I know. Thats basic digital theory.
Although, from that, id guess that VIH & VIL mean: Voltage-Input-High & Voltage-Input-Low. But afaik, they aint logic families.

Done it.
The ALS is a Advanced Lower Power Sckotty. The ViN is Voltage input in. ViO is Voltage input out.
Handed it in as well.

Now just 2xFurther Maths assignments that i have no idea how to do, to do.
