If you can still find a Toshiba PDR-M70, get it. It has the same components (Carl-Zeiss lens, Sony Control) as the Canon G1 that costs hundreds more. The quality of the pictures is comparable to the G1 (it means second to none). I tried both and bought the M70 because of the huge cost advantage. It's the 3.3 Mpixel and it also has all manual functions. Search Google newsgroups and you'll find out the comments of users out there. I took thousands of pictures so far and very happy with it.
