Digital Camera Suggestion

I know this is not the hardware forum but i need a bigger reach to users, i tried Dpreview forum but no one is helping out.

First i already have a Nikon D70

Now i'm looking for a portable point and shoot Digital Camera, 5 megapixel or better that packs of a punch with features if possible. Rechargeble batteries a must or least comes with rechargeble kit.
Memory types don't matter.

I was looking into canon at the moment or Sony Cybershot W1, what are some of you buying this x-mas.?

hoe big of a P&S do you want? the 5700 is pretty big, you might as well look at the Panasonic DMC-FZ20 also

actually small, i want small camera that can fit nicely in a jacket pocket. The Sony Cybershot W1 and Canon s500 are good examples which i might just get one of those.

my parent will use it also so somethign easy for them to carry, unlike my bulky Nikon D70

small and LOTS of features are not something that go hand and hand

however

Look at the Pentax Optio S5i, Optio SV and Optio 750Z

I like those new Panasonics. Very small, great picture quality, and image stabilization.

i can compromise i guess, just nothing bulky, something lets say you can carry with you all the time in your jacket or purse if you are a lady.
