Digital Camera Question

Okay, quick question...I've got an Olympus D460 digital camera, and my batteries are dead. The camera didn't come with an AC adapter, but the batteries aren't rechargable anyway. Should I try to get ahold of an AC adapter and rechargables, or should I just get new batteries. And for that matter...what batteries would work in the camera...I know lithiums, but I'm not sure what off-brand would work as opposed the the Olympus made ones.

Thanx...but I've already tried google. I understand that the camera uses Olympus LB-01 batteries, hell I've got a couple right here. My question was in regards to "what other" batteries will work, if any. Do any recharagbles work, or any generic lithiums?

Any "generic" ni-cad or li-ion battery with the specs to fit your camera will work fine.

the rechargable batteries may not provide the same voltage as the regular non rechargabe variety so check carefully!

Ni-Cad batteries will not work in digitial cameras as they do not support the cameras high current demands.
NiMH or Nickle Metal Hydroxide are the most common rechargable camera batteries but follow the standard A, AA form factor, not sure if the Olympus uses AA's, if so then pick up a Maha charger as it comes with battries also. You might also check the manual for the DC voltage in requirement and go to Radio Shack and pick up an AC/DC adapter which is much cheaper then the manufacture supplied unit.
