digital camera question

one thing... yes i've used the search feature

okay, i've been thinking about buying one. my friend tells me that the olympus camedia c-4000 is too good a deal to pass up, since it's a 4 megapixel at a cheap price. my question is... how does it compare with a $250ish cannon? like an a60 or an s200?

i mean those cannons are only 2 megapixels... so does the c-4000 produce much higher quality pictures?

and another question... how would do the s200 and a60 compare to each other? all i know is the a60 is bigger but allows for more control. which would you buy?

yes more MP will make a bigger image but that dosent always mean better. it really depends on what you are going to be doing with it. if you are just getting into digital photo. id go with that s200 or a60. if you knwo what your dooin get teh Olympus or a higher end cannon

Higher quality means nothing unless you plan on PRINTING most of your pictures.

If you are going to PRINT most of your pictures then get a 4MP.

Otherwise get the Canon PowerShot A60.

It also depends on how big you are printing your pictures. For a 4x6, you can't tell a 3MP from a 4MP
