How do you resize these suckers??? i'm new to the whole digital camera thing so i need to know... i don't want to keep these pics at 2048 x 1536

use photoshop or gimp or picasa ..

i personally store my pics at full rez, but upload the web stuff at 1024x768, so i usually have 2 copies, but only one is archived and kept on the hdd.

most cameras has options and settings in the camera to adjust the resolution, usually starting at 640x480 (1MP) and up.

i use Visualiser Photo Resize, and resize whole batches at once

ACDSee, or Thumbsplus.

Both can do batch jobs.
