Digital Camera LCD Screen Noise?

Hey guys, I need your help with an issue I found in the new digital camera that I bought from Best Buy. It's the Canon PowerShot SD870IS and I've noticed that the LCD screen appears to have "noise" if that is the correct term. It's hard to describe but it appears that the pixels themselves are "fuzzy". The picture is not clear on the LCD screen, but the actual photo that results is fine. I'm not sure if this is normal and I would love to have a LCD screen that didn't do this. Can anyone with this camera or knowledge about this issue comment on it? Thanks :)!

The LCD will look noisy when you're in low light situations, like indoors or at night while the sensor and LCD try to "gain up" to give you a well-lit preview on the screen. Take it outside on a sunny day and it should look significantly less noisier.

Yeah you guys are right. I've asked several people and they've never noticed the lcd noise before, which I found very disturbing, so that's why I'm asking :). Yup, the noise/grain does appear more prominent indoors and at night, but outside in sunny weather, it looks great!
