Digital camera interface - "compactflash card reader"?

Hey, just looking at the Kodak DC4800 and it lists as a requirement "USB port or COMPACTFLASH card reader." This is for a person who has a notebook without a USB port.

I found a Kodak reader one at Staples.com (IM1158980) for $50; is this a decent price?

Do they make compactflash card readers in a PCMCIA version?

How much worse would using this interface be over USB?

I used a sandisk cf reader for my laptop. Those you can get for like 20 bucks or so.
If you use your cam, it just sucks cause it sucks up battery and is a little bit slower. Other than that, you're okay.

Any recc's on where to get a Sandisk CF reader? The only $20 version I see is USB, so tht won't work.
