Digital Camera Cable question

Hi everybody,

I own a Kodak DX3600. Great camera. But now, my Mom has accidentally thrown out my camera connection cable :frown:

My question is, can I use a connection cable (the one that goes from the camera into the USB port) from another camera (e.g. a H.P)? Are camera connection cables interchangeable?

If not, I will probably have to go to KOdak to get a replacement

If the ends are the same it should work just fine...
