Digital Camera - Any Suggestions???

I'm looking to buy a digital camera and I was wondering if any of you have some suggestions. I want something mid to high range. I am willing to spend ~800 on the camera and ~300 more on accessories.

Thanks,
Ben

There's a wide range of cameras available. What do you want to do with it? And how much do you want to spend? Answer those questions and then we can help.

Nikon Coolpix 990? or Olympus 3030?, I think would be the ones for you to look at. Each about $900 and top-quality. I'd probably go with the Nikon. I wish I could afford one, but I have played with one for a while and it seemed really nice. (I have an Agfa 1280 which is just 1-megapixel, the Nikon is 3-megapixels, I believe)

I've been using my Kodak for a year now and it rocks. I've used it to take pictures at weddings and for local paper with no problems.

I'm now using the Kodak DCS 600. I started with the DC 120 then bought the DCS 600. Both are excellent cameras. I still have the DC 120 if anyone is interested.
