i'm looking to get a digital camera,but i'm new to photo taking and don't really know anything about anything.can anyone recommend something around 300 or less that would be good for night time shooting,which is what i mainly plan on using it for.thanks 🙂
 
realredpanda,something like the new Canon A85 fits your bill,review here,btw you should look for cameras that have focus assist lamp which is handy for low light situations,the A85 has a focus assist lamp.
