Yep, depending on how much extra memeory you buy, the added accessories will be between $100 and $300. But you can buy those over time and suffer with the basics until you do :)

Id go with olympus 510 or 490 (serial). I had an olympus 450 that i sold and regret it big time. I replaced the thing with a Canon S110 which is extremely tiny so it goes with me everywhere. But so far the pictures arent as good as my old olympus so im a bit disappointed.

<< You think the C2020 is big? Seems pretty small and light to me. It's always a trade off between price, performance and size.

Doesn't fit well in my pocket = big.

Compared to Fuji and Canon's offerings, Olys are big cameras. Not as big as a nikon 9xx series but large compared to Fujis and canons which are almost half the size of the oly.

Don't get me wrong, I love the picture quality that my Oly offers, but depending on the type of shooting you're looking for, the size of the camera can have a huge effect on the outcome. Studio/session/camera bag assisted shooting works great with larger bodies cameras, but if you want something that you'll catch everyday moments with, a tiny ass canon or fuji is going to fill that role better. The integrated lens cap is also a great tool for getting shots off faster from the hip.

And yes, I'd be the first to agree that Nikons and Oly's and other larger body cameras have better image quality in general than canons and fujis as well as having better feature sets, and shooting options.

And I can't think of a good reason to get a kodak considering the options on the market today.
