Difficult choice about upgrade

What would be the better option for 300 bucks , Raptor 150 or 2 gig Low latency ram.

I have right now, 2-3-3-6 corsair 1 gig kit and 2x120 sata seagate in raid-0

what would be the better upgrade

and if it's the memory, which one.

A better option for "300 bucks" would be C) Don't waste $300. Your computer looks fine.

although i like the 2 GB option, with socket AM2 around the corner, ram that you won't be able to use on that platform isnt as good an investment.

your system is probably fine as is

I would get the raptor since it will be future proof for a while

Do you do a lot of PhotoShop or video editing? If so, go with the RAM upgrade if you have enough HD space. If you don't do much digital photo/video editing, hang on to your green stamps.😀 Your system looks fine as it is.
