I have two questions in which I want to ask everyone there, first off..

1) Has anyone encountered any problems when using different branded 133Mhz SDRAM modules in the same computer? Are there any incompatibily issues that I should be aware of?

2) What is the ideal amount of memory for Windows 2000? 128MB? 256MB? 384MB? 512MB?
(At the moment I have 256MB and I am thinking of adding an extra 128MB to my machine mainly because I am a fairly heavy multitasker. :))

3) and question 3... :) How much ram do you have in your system and what O/S are you using?

1) No, not at all.

2) As much as you can get. 192 (128+64) is a good amount, or 256. Unless you are doing big image and sound editing or the like, you really won't see much improvement over 256 (Win2kpro typically idles at around 100MB).

3) MY comp is what you see in my sig, running 192MB (128 micron, 64 TI...the TI doesn't like 133MHz memory bus, so I may take it out to see if the higher memory bus does anything for overall performance). I am running Win2k Pro SP1.
