Different RAM Chips Video Cards, what's the difference?

Hey,

Well I've been seeing various RAM chips on various video cards, I currently an MSI 815 Pro (GF2 Pro 5ns RAM) which seems to have been discontinued by MSI (Anyone know why?) But yeah I've seen two differnt type RAM chips on video cards, seen here:

Type 1
Type 2

Anyways, my MSI card has RAM that looks like Type 1 (64MB) can anyone explain any differences between the two types?

Dont worry about. Card makers generally get memory from whoever is cheaper that week. As long as it is rated the same dont worry about it. I WOULD worry if there was different chips on the same card though!

Alrite, well I wasn't worrying, I just wanted to know if there was any difference between the two.
