Different RAM brand?

Hi all, what issue can I encounter if I install different ram brands? I mean:
I have this set of ram:
2x 4gb geil 9-9-9-24
2x4gb xms3 corsair 9-9-924
2x4gb hyper x 9-9-9-23
I have a P8P67 Asus mobo. With 4 ram slots.
I have to sell all and buy 4 ram with the same brand? Or can I setup something with these ram? To have 16gb?
Thank you all in advance

I know that works but with some search I found out that different brands could give some problems or slow with games

Specially with different vattage

Yeah well you didn't list your voltages.
I'm running different ram, a mix of mushkin and corsair, same voltage, different timings. It runs fine. Even have my system overclocked, not the ram though.
All you can do is try it and do some tests to see if it's stable. memtest, prime95, etc....
If you can't get it stable, sell it and get a matching kit....

Hi guys there is me again:
I have to adjust this thread cause the ram memory was wrong. I have:
2x4gb geil 9-9-9-24 1333mhz 1.5v
2x4gb xms3 corsair 9-9-9-24 1600mhz 1.65v
2x2gb hyper x 9-9-9-23 1600mhz 1.65v

I try 2 config:

corsair + geil = 16gb
corsair + hyperX = 12gb

this is passmark test result:

As u can see the 12gb config is faster than the 16gb config (about 1,5% faster) do you think is noticeable?
its better to keep the "faster" config or the other one?
I dont really know if that 0,5ns latency of difference worth the 12gb instead of 16

the difference between 1333c9 and 1600c9 can be noticeable in some things and not in others (depending on the task the difference may be more than 5%)
same goes for 12g ram vs 16g
it depends on the rest of your system and what your doing with it

Generally you want all the memory to be matched in speed and voltage. So ddr-1600 would be run at ddr3-1333 speed possibly at 1.5v instead of 1.65v in your case. Unless you want to run your 1.5v sticks at 1.65v.

Matching ranks in each channel might have been necessary in the past but I don't it matters as much now unless possibly there is a limit to the total number of ranks supported by the memory controller.

1.5% is so miniscule, the difference can't possibly the felt in real world apps.
