Different pointer sensitivity for touchpad and external mouse?

Hi,

I have a bluetooth mouse that I use with my laptop. If I set the pointer sensitivity so that the touchpad feels good, the external mouse is way too sensitiy for my taste. Conversely, if I set the the sensitivity to what the external mouse feels good, the touchpad is way too slow.

Is there a way to independently set the sensivities? It's not too hard to manually set it when I use one vs the other, but it would be nice if it's automatic. Thanks.

no drivers? my v550 logitech installs an extra settings screen for sensitivity etc. if you use the touchpad drivers only it might be linked.

The Microsoft Intellipoint software is integrated with the mouse settings in control panel, so no independent settings.

I did find Mouse Speed Switch that will save 2 sensitivity profiles and switch using a keyboard shortcut. It's not ideal since it still need to be manually switched and it's one more thing to run at startup. But it's better than going into the control panel everytime!

Why both devices? I use a Nano VX on my laptop and turn the touchpad off. It is a PITA anyway while typing.
