We're not people, you're just really big chemical reactions.

When you're eating steak, its just some cow muscle. Which poses, why is eating human muscle considered so terrible, supposing it died of natural causes and all that?

Pretty simple...

1. You can't be absolutely sure that the person died naturally, you can be much more sure that a beef is not a person who was murdered.

2. Members of society agree not to eat human flesh because it guarantees that they themselves won't get eaten/killed by others of their society. Simple social contract. Animals can't sign that contract, so they are not subject to it's rules.

3. Human flesh is MUCH more likely to carry disease.
