i am making poker chips in my metal shop, and i have a problem
standarch chips are 11.5 to 13.5 grams.

the chips i'm designing will be

6 grams is aluminum
21.6 grams if brass
19.7 grams if steel

does anyone know a metal that is heavier than aluminum and lighter than steel? if so, where can i get a 2'x2' sheet of it?

thanks
david

i find it rediculous that i got 2 rediculous answers in less than 5 minutes.

i'm worried about the weight cause i want them to be as close as possible to standard playing chips.

does anyone have an actual answer?

Klandestine has a decent idea, brass and alum together would be about 13 grams.

FYI:

Ridiculous does not have the letter "E" in it.

Tin?

BTW.

This is Off Topic, you should expect ridiculous answers. Part of the intention of the forum is for people to let off steam.

If you want ONLY serious answers find a metal-worker forum somewhere and stop whining.

You work in a metal shop and you expect people on a geek forum to know more about metals than you?

No it doesn't. But you ARE being a baby. We're ribbing you, take it like a man.

Dammit! I clicked on this link, all ready to expound on the subtleties between black and death metal, and how melodic death metal differs from thrash, or symphonic black metal. Why, I was frothing at the mouth, ready to discredit any nu-metal bands and applauding the old-school greats like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Slayer. Bah!
