Folks, what browsers do some of you use? Are there any benefits to using another browser instead of IE, such as Netscape Navigator? Or is it mainly personal preferences? I'd like to hear some other folks' input.
The main advantage for these browsers are multi-tabbed browsing, built-in popup blockers, and slightly faster speed. Both avant and crazy browsers work on top of IE.
Phoenix is great little browser 🙂 I have been using it for the past month, and I love it 🙂 It's based on the Mozilla core, so is quick, and also is really tiny, and loads up in less than a second on all my machines (slowest being a Duron 850).
The tabbed browsing is absolutely brilliant, and allows you to have multiple web pages open without having hundreds of things on your task bar. In this past month, i've only found 2 sites that won't work on it, and those were links found in OT, so nothing important anyway.
