Different brands RAM - possible?

Lots of questions today (sorry about that) as I'm planning on upgrading my current gaming PC.

I currently have 2x 4GB RAM in my PC (dual channel). Is it possible for me to add in another set of RAM into the PC (dual channel), but of a different brand? (I'll keep the clock speed the same).

Yes, that'll work fine. The channels just have to be the same size. F.x. 2x 4+4GB. Its only if you add one DIMM to one of the channels (F.x. 8GB on one and 4GB on the other) there could be a problem.
